Leveque Photography Adventure

18 Apr 2017 -- Posted by : Pamela

Timed to coincide with the full moon rising, our photo adventure to Cape Leveque 200kms north of Broome was a feast for the eyes and the senses.

We captured dramatic colours as the moon rose over the red Pindan cliffs (that Kooljaman is so well known for) as the sun set over the Indian Ocean producing an even stronger colour in the cliffs.

We adventured with local Brian Lee on his tagalong tour to Hunters Creek, an amazingly clear saltwater tidal creek with his grandchilden that were on school holidays. We had fun frolicking with them in the shallows and taking photo's of their antics in the water!

We visited the historic church at Beagle Bay, shooting some amazing pearl shell inlay designs inside the church.

I took Jane and Mary over to One Arm Point and we captured some gorgeous long exposures of the tides racing through the islands of the Sunday Straits.

I'd love you to join my next 4 DAY small group photography retreat to this wonderful area. Click here for more information.
