Home Tours and Workshops 7 Day Karijini National Park Photo Tour, Western Australia | May 2025
7 May 2025
Karijini National Park is a vast wilderness in the Hamersley Ranges in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Explore a wonderland of ancient natural landscapes formed more than two billion years ago.
Deep gorges, red cliffs, towering waterfalls and beautiful waterholes.
Karijini would have to rate way up in the list of the world’s most spectacular places, it has sheer WOW value.
I will pick you up from the Paraburdoo Airport in the Pilbara region of WA. Sit back and enjoy the scenery on our way to Karijini Eco Resort, our home for the week, in the heart of the national park. We pass through white-barked snappy gum trees that beautifully contrast with Karijini's red earth. The vegetation ranges from spinifex hummocks, acacias, eucalypts, melaleucas and low mulga woodlands.
I have booked you into deluxe eco tents with ensuites, very comfortable with lovely National Park views.
Over the week we visit all the iconic spots including Joffre Gorge, Kalamina Gorge, Dales Gorge, Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool, Weano Gorge & Oxer Lookout, Hancock Gorge and Hamersley Gorge.
Lots of early starts to make the most of colourful reflective light in the gorges and late afternoons chasing the light.
Please Note:
To explore the gorges, you must be fit and agile. Karijini is a remote wilderness location full of raw wild beauty. The paths trails and stairs are natural and rustic, and there are some steep descents into gorges over uneven, rocky ground. You will need to be fit, and you must have good balance, all whilst carrying your own camera gear.
If you are shaky on your feet or can’t comfortably walk on uneven ground, then this tour is probably not for you.
Cost: $7200 per person
$1200 Single supplement

A Broome trip will never be forgotten with the shots you’ll capture on a Pamela Jennings tour! Pam’s knowledge of the area will guarantee visits to great locations at the best times, to photograph.
Just finished a six night trip exploring Broome & surrounds...taken to stunning locations to capture the dramatic colours of Roebuck Bay, Gantheaume Point, Cape Leveque and the tidal flats of King Sound from the air.
Looking forward to enjoying the images for a long time to come, although keen to return as soon as possible for another trip. If you’re a keen photographer, Pamela Jennings is your local expert.
