The jewel in Broome’s crown! All around you are sights, colours, textures and landscapes you’ll want to capture. From soft, pastel sunrises and glorious sunsets over the Indian Ocean to brilliant red cliffs and white sandy beaches surrounded by a turquoise ocean. This place just screams to be photographed!
I have planned a comfortable but adventurous workshop starting in Broome and staying at Kooljaman at Cape Leveque on Aboriginal land. We will visit some fantastic locations plus have Aboriginal guides to get us into special areas with a focus on nature and wildlife photography.
We will be fully accommodated at Kooljaman at Cape Leveque inclusive of meals, Aboriginal tour component, whale watching cruise (Aug only), transport in air-conditioned 4WD from Broome and return, and photographic tuition over the 4 days.
I highly recommend the optional light aircraft scenic flight over the nearby Buccaneer Archipelago and Horizontal Falls. I will provide photography tuition so you can get the most out of your flight.
All my Cape Leveque workshops are min 2 and max 4 participants so there will be plenty of personalised attention and photographic tuition. With such a small group size we can focus on your interests as a photographer.
Your accommodation will vary over the year. In April you will be in an air-conditioned cabin, from May onwards you may be in Kooljaman’s bush style Log Cabins. An upgrade to their Safari Tents may be possible subject to availability at the time of booking.
